Innova-Play is a unique methodology dedicated to the principle that children learn best when they are not forced into an established curriculum, but excel when in settings that are child-centered, engaged in activities that pique their interest.
This is particularly true for children with special needs or those with very individualized abilities, interests and energy levels. These children may have difficulty functioning within a standardized classroom where a child may feel left out, frustrated or simply lost in a process that is irrelevant to them.
Innova-Play is different. It starts with an assessment of your child’s play skills, evaluating how they relate to others and their environment, and determining their energy level and flow. A plan is developed which incorporates your child’s particular needs into a group play dynamic where children work collaboratively to participate in their Innova-Play experience.
Your child will stay engaged in a play experience that "fits" them. Innova-Play is specifically designed for children with special needs with the intent of enhancing social skills, sensory processing and gross motor proficiency.
